Saurova

Saurova is a larger, north-facing second-floor unit with a unique layout. Its 2 bedrooms sleep up to four people. The bluish limestone color of the walls creates a relaxed and stylish atmosphere, which is accompanied by renovated bricks and wooden surfaces. The natural textiles and goose down pillows make your stay a relaxing one. There are 2 paintings by Elina Kasesalu on opposite walls. It seems like these are having a chat – the rooster in Seto outfit on one side and the maiden on the other. And if you like fairytales, there are a lot of Easter Eggs for you to discover on the wallpapers as well.

A bit of history behind the name of the room:
The Saurova Lake has its coast just on the side of Petseri town. Almost all of this area is currently within the borders of the Russian Federation. The villages lie on the sides of the Riga-Pskov railway, and the landscape is characterized by large valleys. In the old days, Saurova was also called “anomanulk” or “pottery area,” since many masters of this craft lived and worked there.
